Come and find me two years ago .. Six words that have thrown the hockey playing tomboy Arizona in an alternate dimension. Suddenly, she lives the life of an idolized cheerleader. She is from the happy life with her father pulled and pushed into a new, unknown life with her mother hated. All they know as Arizona Darley, but she is not. She is Arizona Stevens. While she tries to find answers for them are fixed only two things: that her mother Olivia is responsible for everything somehow - and that she needs to reclaim her old life. Until she meets Kellan ...
My opinion:
Portal has convinced me immediately. The story is completely different from other time-travel stories. The idea behind it fascinates me still. Is it possible to send people through the ages? This seems to be happening Arizona. Because her life was so far .. well let's say-so. She lives with your dad, the relationship with the mother is not the best, her little sister does not see them often, but in high school she is an absolute hockey star. She wakes up one day with her mother and her sister in another car, and their absence memories ... and suddenly she leads a very different life ... Something is not right. Luckily you are still a few old friends. But that does not seem to be what they once were.
Imogen Rose starts the same story with this confusion. The writing style is fluid and easy to read. I had gone through the book in one day because I was so absorbed in the story. The chapters jump sometimes in their narrative perspective, it is always someone else that reflects his view of things. This one always gets back to another point of view, and other information that are important for the course of history.
Arizona is an absolutely charming character ... how they deal with others, and also how she behaves I really liked. Her brother Harry is absolutely cute, but I was most impressed at Kellan. I can understand that Arizona is in love with him would be, I probably also happens in their place ... J
The cover I like it, although a bit .. well, intergalactic acts. After reading the story, but we understand why the blonde girl is pictured with the Moon;)
In short, a very exciting start for a new series. The second part of the series in deutsh appear next year. This year for Christmas, there are five in the original part. I think I'll probably have to read a little bit foreign language, because I am absolutely excited pointing going on, because the end is a large mega cliffhanger .. L
Here before folding the text and the new cover, (suits itself very well to the first, or? ;))
It's not every day that one sees a naked body on the roadside ...
This strange sight is only the beginning of a puzzle that will capture two dimensions.
As the California teen Arizona Darley and her siblings disappear, finds her mother, Dr. Olivia Darley out that someone has brought it developed time travel portal under his control.
Is the same person responsible for the disappearance of their children? They have been transported to another dimension? If true, the police and the FBI track it never can be, and Olivia Darley must find a way to save their own children.
As you will succeed without access to the portal?

Conclusion:
Absolutely worth reading. Many thanks to Alli Potter and Imogen Rose for this fantastic adventure with Arizona! I'M really looking forward to the next one, maybe I will read it in English first, because I'm soooo unpatient. Thanks for giving me the opportunity to read this novel!

Could you tell us a little about yourself once.
I am a scientist, mother, and a dreamer. I was born in Sweden, Oskarshamn, a small town in Sweden. After I Grease had seen, I began to have a crush on John Travolta and the United States. I thought it would be great to study in the United States, and that's about it.There I have not found my JT, but strangely, a red-haired Scot, I married and with whom I moved to Scotland. Then I moved to London, got my degree and have a child, and then I moved to New Jersey, in the land of Housewives and Snooki . A girl could wish for something better?
What inspired you to write portal?
I've always been a storyteller (probably most parents) and have devised bedtime stories and other fantasy worlds to entertain my children (I have always acted as if the scales of the neighbors live a hippo to my younger daughter at ) to keep happy. Since my mother died unexpectedly during heart surgery, I dreamed constantly of people and situations from my past. The dreams are in my imagination to strange little "movie clips" fused, who just started to make sense, as I have fictionalized for my younger daughter. She loved my little stories always. With her question "What happens next?" She encouraged me to complete the story and continue writing. My daughter has always everything the printer has spit read, and was so excited that I kept going ... and it is a novel emerged.
I love the line "Come and find me two years ago." At that moment, you had grabbed me. How did you come to that?
So, this is a very personal story that will be told one day with a glass of champagne and chocolates ...
How much of your "real life" you take on writing your stories?
With every story that I write less and less. In my first book, portal, is a lot of "me." :) Large parts of me are reflected in Olivia, just to find parts in Arizona. Olivia is the way I was, after my mother had died. For me it was a moment that changed my life, because I've longed for a portal.
